1980's Hakeem Olajuwon & Ralph Sampson The Twin Towers Game Worn Shoes. Dubbed the Twin Towers, Hakeem Olajuwon and Ralph Sampson had the NBA world on notice. How could two men nearly seven feet share the same court? While Olajuwon enjoyed a Hall of Fame career, Sampson was felled by various injuries and couldn't keep pace with his fellow 7-footer. Worn during both men's days with the Rockets are these game-worn shoes. Both are sourced from a Rockets team associate. Offered first are Olajuwon's "[size] 17" LA Gear shoes with a vintage autograph (6/10 left/8/10 right) on both - authenticated with a full PSA/DNA letter. One shoe is inscribed "Happy Birthday" by the gentle giant. Some leather flaking present on the left shoe. The Sampson Puma shoes have heavy inside wear with paint chipping.
