Description

1980's Bill Bradley New York Knicks Signed Nike Shoes - Donated by Bradley Personally to Charity. It is hard to decipher what Bill Bradley's legacy will be. A Hall of Fame basketball player, who helped the Knicks to their last NBA title, Bradley became a politician of the highest order and served as a senator for nearly two decades. Bradley personally donated this pair of Nike "[size] 13.5" shoes to a local Washington charity. A number of Washington Redskins and other athletes signed the canvas kicks in felt tip ink. Screened on the inside of both shoes is: "Size 13 1/2 800608STPS" which indicates the size, year of issue and designates them as player sample shoes. What we believe has happened is that Bradley was sent the shoes from Nike as they match his size. Autographs include: Joe Theismann, Sam Jones (basketball great), Phil Chenier, Monte Irvin and more. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
