    Description

1980 Pete Maravich Inscribed & Signed Poster. One of the scarcer and highly prized basketball autographs, Pistol Pete inscribes and signs his career retrospective poster in NRMT black sharpie: "To Mother Cole, my wife Jackie says you are still the best cook. Much health and happiness. 'Pistol Pete' Maravich." Presented to the wife of a Celtics exec who helped the Maravich family adjust to life in Boston, Photo montage includes seventeen images of Maravich as a Tiger, Hawk, Jazz, and Celtic battling the likes of Frazier, Cowens, Walton, Chenier, Chaney, and Winters. Career summary at bottom with "Pistol Pete Maravich, 1970-1980" and logos of the four teams he played for in Atlanta, New Orleans, Utah, and Boston. One corner chipped and another is torn but intact. Images and signature not affected by the wear. Measures 19x25". Full LOA from PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication.
