1976 Boston Celtics NBA Championship Ring Presented to Team Owner. It was an NBA Finals best remembered for the triple-overtime Game Five victory over the Western Conference Champion Phoenix Suns, a nail-biting marathon of a contest which teetered on the edge of a riot situation as fans attacked referee Richie Powers and turned over one of the scorer's tables. Characterized by alternating displays of brilliance and chaos, the event ranks among Boston Garden's most famous, and carried the hometown Celtics to within a Game Six victory of their thirteenth NBA title.

Consigned directly by the son of team owner Irving Levin, the presented ring is one of just a tiny handful from this memorable Championship to surface in the collecting market. The fourteen-karat gold symbol of excellence announces "NBA World Champions" on the face, with a replacement faux diamond at center. The left shank is dominated by the NBA logo, framed by text reading "1976" and "Teamwork." A trophy listing the many Celtics Championships commands the right shank, encircled by "Levin, Boston Celtics, Pride."

The fourteen-karat gold artifact measures to a size eleven and presents exceptionally with light wear.
