    Description

1974-75 Kentucky Colonels Uniform Design Artwork & Ordering Records. Original artwork for a prospective uniform design for what would prove to be an ABA Championship season for the Kentucky Colonels was ultimately passed over for a different style, with that winning artwork sent to the good folks at Sand-Knit for production. Team trainer Lloyd Gardner retained this losing design until he sold it to our consignor with his signed letter of provenance. Artwork measures 11x14". Also here are more than a dozen pages of uniform ordering paperwork listing the numbers and tailoring alterations for the likes of Issel, Gilmore and Dampier. Some of the paperwork is directed to Gardner personally. All pages exhibit typical handling and storage wear but nothing that could properly be characterized as damage. Letter of provenance from Kentucky Colonels head trainer.
