1971-84 Pistol Pete Maravich Single Signed Baseball & The Sporting News Cover, Autograph PSA/DNA NM 8. 1) The only Pistol Pete signed baseball which we know of, this Rawlings sphere is stamped "Games of the XXIII Olympiad Los Angeles 1984" and also bears Olympic Committee logo. Signed "'Pistol Pete' Maravich" on the panel which bears the Rawlings stamp. The ball exhibits light, even toning and the large, bold blue felt-tip autographed grades a 9/10 in strength; and 2) Cover of the 3/6/71 The Sporting News pictures the rookie Maravich elevating over the Bucks' Jon McGlocklin, with the headline "Pete Maravich, The Crowd Pleaser." Signed "Pistol Pete" in 9/10 blue ballpoint across the back of McGlocklin and the waist of Maravich. Double-matted and framed 20x16" (14x10" visible in frame). Full Grading LOA from PSA/DNA, NM 8.
