1960's Basketball & Baseball Autograph Book with Early Lew Alcindor.
This standard size autograph book contains signatures of some of the finest period stars of the 1960's. The offering opens with a bang as Lew Alcindor (10/10) signed his own page in red felt tip. Most pages contain multiple signatures - many in pencil. Included are: Eddie Doucette (The Buck's announcer coined the term "skyhook", in reference to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's hook shot. He was also the first person to use the term "Twin Towers" in a basketball sense, when he referred to the Knicks' Marvin Webster and Bill Cartwright as such), Billy Martin, Reggie Jackson, Ray Berres, Lee Stange, Danny Walton, Tom Hall, Bill Rigney, Sherry Robertson, Bob Brown (Packers), John Brockington (Packers) and more. The following autographs are stapled in: Doucette, Elijah Pitts and four others. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
