1936 James Naismith Handwritten Letter to His Wife with Signature on Envelope. If not for the aspirations of James Naismith, we may not hold Michael Jordan and Wilt Chamberlain in the high accord we do. Naismith is writing to his wife in the offered four page letter. The innovator is on a ship to Russia and explaining to his wife what he has incurred on the way. He inquires about the family and how she is handling the summer in Dallas. Naismith closes the letter with this loving line: "It makes me very happy to think I have ... a fine family of the first and second generation. Give my love to all of them and remember that I am as for the past 20+ years your loving husband, Jim." Naismith did offer and autograph as he wrote "Mrs. James Naismith" on the front of the envelope. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
