1930's James Naismith Typed Manuscript with Handwritten Page re: Football. Three typed pages regards the sport of football, a subject close to the heart of the man who invented the football helmet. He comments on the objectives of the game and laments how "...the tendency lately in football is to do away with personal contact..." Also here is a single handwritten small "page" (4x6" in size) that is some form of list ("1, Possession of ball. 2, Interference, Line..."). Also here is an apparent diagram of a "wedge" formation. Pages average EX. Writing averages bold 9/10. LOA from PSA/DNA.
