Description

1930's James Naismith Typed Manuscript with Handwritten Notes re: YMCA. Twelve typed pages with light handwritten notations appear to lay out the framework for a speech he was to deliver about the past, present and future of the YMCA. This covers his concerns with what he perceives as "...injustice that has been done to one of the finest Christian organizations in the country..." He also discusses the value of the "Y" in France during World War I. An intriguing perspective from arguably the most noteworthy figure in YMCA history. Pages average EX. Writing averages bold 9/10. LOA from PSA/DNA.
