    Description

1917 James Naismith Signed Promissory Note. "Student Loan Fund" promissory note for one hundred dollars is endorsed by "Jas. Naismith," who also writes his address below. The cancelled note came to Naismith with an included letter from the grateful student for whom Naismith endorsed the loan. The student suggests that Dr. Naismith may wish to keep the note for his records. Naismith's autograph is 8/10, and the note has original mailing folds, otherwise EX-MT. An intriguing signed document. LOA from PSA/DNA.
