2010 President Barack Obama, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Magic Johnson & Carmelo Anthony Multi-Signed Basketball -- Attributed to his 49th Birthday Pick-Up Game. "One of the perks of being president is, you can invite people to the White House and they show up," president Barack Obama once said. The Commander in Chief played in quite a few basketball pickup games around the Washington, D.C. area during his presidency, some more secret than others.Quite a few active and retired NBA players took part in many of these games, the most famous of which being the election day games and the birthday games. One of the most memorable of these contests was the one played to celebrate the president's forty-ninth birthday.
The NM "Spalding TF-1000" offered here was present at that particular game, played in 2010, and is signed in black sharpie by five including the president 9/10)(9/10), Kobe Bryant (9/10), LeBron James (8/10), Magic Johnson (8/10), and Carmelo Anthony (7/10).
