1992 Olympic Games Karl Malone Game Worn & Signed USA Basketball Dream Team Single Sneaker - Fischer Collection. Karl Malone redefined the position of power forward just as Bob Pettit, Maurice Lucas, and Kevin McHale had done before him. For Malone, his contributions came in the form of quick jumpers on the perimeter, inside power moves that finished at the rim, and the ability to get out and run the break at 256 pounds.

The Mailman was always physically prepared to deliver and believed that every day he didn't build himself up that someone else was getting ready to tear him down. All that preparation and conditioning paid off as Malone was an ironman, missing just ten games in eighteen seasons with the Utah Jazz and retiring as the second leading scorer in league history, along with three NBA Finals appearances and two NBA MVP awards. Going into the 1992 Olympics, Karl was coming off a 28.0 points, 11.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists season.

LA Tech left sneaker is white with blue trim. "Mailman" on top back embroidered in gold thread. "Mailman LA Tech" on tongue with "16 Sample" tag inside. Signed by Malone on the left side in black sharpie along with his NBA "#32" and inscription "To Dr. Fisher." Game wear evident. Letter of provenance from David A. Fischer, MD. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from SGC Authentic.
