    Description

1984 Spalding Larry O'Brien Official Spalding Basketball. Wilson had the NBA contract to produce basketballs which ended following the '83 Finals. Also moving out of the office of commissioner was Larry O'Brien. Eventually Spalding picked up the contract and David Stern assumed the role of top man on Feb. 1, 1984. According to our consignor very few Spalding basketballs were ever produced with Larry O'Brien listed as commissioner. The crossover in brands and commissioners leave this one up in the air as to how many have surfaced. Also included is the broken down original Spalding box which housed this memento.
