1978-79 Michigan State Spartans Team Signed Presentational-Style Basketball with Pre-Rookie Magic Johnson Autograph - First Basketball Championship. In a true battle featuring players from totally different spectrums, the epic March 26, 1979 NCAA championship game saw Magic Johnson's Michigan State squad defeat then-undefeated Indiana State and all-world player Larry Bird, 75-64. Representing that magical Spartans season, this presentational style basketball is one of very few team-signed pieces ever offered from the '79 champions. Signed in light ball-point ink, it showcases a rare early exemplar from Earvin "Magic" Johnson and his teammates. Other signatures include: Ron Charles, Mike Brkovich, Rich Kaye, Gerald Busby, Jay Vincent, Terry Donnelly, Jaime Huffman and others. Light water damage exhibited throughout. Full LOA from SGC Authentic.
