1996 SkyBox E-X2000 Factory Sealed Hobby Box - Kobe Bryant's Rookie Year! Offered is a 1996-97 SkyBox E-X2000 wax box with 24 unopened packs inside. Each pack has two cards inside. This set encapsulated the era with the futuristic design. The base set consists of 80 cards (82 with checklists) and offered some exciting inserts and refractors. The "A Cut Above" insert cards is a 10 card checklist featuring names like Michael Jordan, Shaq, and Hakeem to name a few. These were inserted into 1:188 packs. The "Net Assets" that were inserted in 1:20 packs with a checklist of 20 cards that included names like Barkley, Ewing, Jordan and Shaq to name a few. Another exciting insert is the Star Date 2000 set of 15 cards that was inserted into 1:9 packs. The Grant Hill Promos/Incentives cards are inserted into 1:500 cards and finally the Autographics that were inserted into 1:72 packs and featured the likes of Grant Hill, Toni Kukoc, Scottie Pippen, Ray Allen and many more. Of course, a Mint to Gem Mint card featuring Kobe Bryant could be hidden amongst the 48 cards inside. The box presents with mild wear throughout. Factory sealed.Auction Info
