1989 NBA Hoops Basketball Series 1 & 2 Unopened Box Pair (2) - David Robinson Rookie Year! The 1989-90 NBA Hoops basketball card set marked a pivotal entry into the hobby as the NBA's own licensed product, debuting in November 1989 with two series totaling 353 cards (#1-300 in Series 1 and #301-353 in Series 2). The release was highlighted by the rookie card of San Antonio Spurs David Robinson. The product features two Robinson cards, card #138 holding a jersey and card #310 action shot. Offered is a pair of boxes from this debut product: One Series 1 box and one Series 2 box. Each box houses 36 unopened packs with 15 cards per pack. Mild to moderate wear exhibited throughout with writing on the Series 1 box. NOTE: All packs appear to be undisturbed with their original seal intact. We have judged the packs to the best of our expertise but cannot guarantee the assessment of a third party grader, please bid accordingly.Auction Info
