1961 Fleer Oscar Robertson Rookie #36 PSA Mint 9 - Only One Higher! Basketball Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson revolutionized the game with his all-around excellence as a point guard. Known as "The Big O," he was the first player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season, having accomplished the feat during the 1961-62 campaign when he averaged 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 11.4 assists per game. A 12-time All-Star, 1961 Rookie of the Year, 1964 NBA MVP, 1971 NBA champion, and 1980 inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Robertson redefined his position with the uncanny ability to score, rebound, and distribute the ball flawlessly night after night.Offered is Robertson's coveted 1961 Fleer rookie card, which is considered one of the most cherished basketball cards in the hobby. Not only does it represent the beginning of one of the greatest careers in NBA history but it originates from the historic '61 Fleer set, which is held in high regard by avid collectors for its clean design and outstanding array of top-tier players.
