1961 Fleer Bob Pettit #34 PSA NM-MT 8. Bob Pettit is was more about determination and hard work than natural talent. That drive, that desire resulted in Pettit becoming the first player in the NBA to top 20,000 points, an All-Star selection for each and every one of his 11 years in the league including All-NBA First Team selection ten of those years, two Most Valuable Player Awards (1956 and 1959), rookie of the year honors in 1954 and an NBA championship in 1957. Not a bad resume for the second pick in the draft who was considered too small in stature and not talented enough to make it in the NBA. Offered is his 1961 Fleer card #34. Very colorful, glossy and close to perfectly centered. Graded PSA NM-MT 8.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
