1961 Fleer Bill Russell (Takes to the Air) #62 SGC EX+ 5.5. Boston Celtics center Bill Russell was the winningest player in NBA history. In his 13 seasons in the league, he led the Celtics to 11 championships, the last two of which were won with him serving as player/coach. Offered is a 1961 Fleer card titled "Takes to the Air" that shows the Hall of Famer floating toward the basket, ready to drop in a two-point bucket. Card #62 from the '61 Fleer set is found in mid-grade form with good color, snow white borders and a clean reverse. Graded SGC EX+ 5.5.Auction Info
