    1961 Fleer Bill Russell #38 SGC 86 NM+ 7.5. Bill Russell was the cornerstone of the Boston Celtics' dynasty of the 1960s. Russell was an uncanny shotblocker who revolutionized NBA defensive concepts. Honors include five-time NBA Most Valuable Player and 12-time All-Star, the towering center amassed 21,620 career rebounds, an average of 22.5 per game and led the league in rebounding four times. A consummate team player, his greatest accomplishment was bringing the storied Celtics 11 championships in his 13 seasons. Graded SGC 86 NM+ 7.5, this colorful and gloss example is a worthy candidate to represent the grade level. This is only his second card appearance. The SMR value is $390.00.
