1948 Bowman Jim Pollard #66 PSA Mint 9 - None Higher. Jim Pollard saw success at both the collegiate and professional levels. He was a pivotal part of the 1942 national champion Stanford team; a star member during his years in the Coast Guard and then the Lakers. He ranks as one of the finest forwards of his era who with a touch of bravado would dunk from the free throw line during pre-game drills. With Pollard, Mikan and Mikkelsen in the line-up, the Minneapolis Lakers boasted a front line few could match. Offered is an outstanding, high quality copy of his rookie card from the landmark '48 Bowman Basketball series. Virtually uncirculated. Graded PSA Mint 9. One of only five recorded in Mint 9, there are none rated higher.
