    Description

1948 Bowman George Mikan #69 PSA Authentic (Altered). To say, "George Mikan played basketball" is like saying "Jimi Hendrix played guitar." The Hall of Fame legend redefined the role of center and there isn't a center in the NBA today who doesn't play with some inspiration taken from the Lakers great. His first card appearance was the 1948 Bowman series and in any condition is a prized entry. This rookie is unique in that it is missing the red ink on front and has been hand cut. His classic ball-handling depiction is only mildly affected by creasing. Encapsulated PSA Authentic (Altered). There is no color added or other physical alteration we can detect.
