(Dual Enshrinements) #DEXJB BGS NM-MT 8 - #'d 1/10! It's hard
to believe it's already been two and a half years since a
helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant and others crashed into a
fog-shrouded mountain near Los Angeles, leaving no survivors. As
the global sporting world reeled with the tragedy, few felt the
pain more deeply than LeBron James, a man who shared with the
fallen legend elite talent, single-minded determination and the
unlikely transition directly from high school to the highest court
in the land, the National Basketball Association.But time would prove that entry to the professional ranks at the tender age of eighteen was far from the only notoriety they'd share. Each is an eighteen-time All-Star at the time of this writing, at least a four-time NBA Champion, a present or future first-ballot Hall of Famer, and the wearer of two jersey numbers--the single-digit number representing the multiplication of two-digits of the other.
The number "1" makes this card particularly special, the first from a limited edition of ten as gilded text near center of card's obverse reports. The fact that the signatures are applied to the card itself and not to stickers applied to the card is another winning trait here, and a good reason for us to accept a tiny bit of handling wear that accounts for the listed grade. The autographs on this thrilling "pull" from a multi-thousand dollar box are perfect tens.
