2006 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection LeBron James & Kobe Bryant (Dual Enshrinements) #DEX-JB BGS NM-MT+ 8.5, Auto 10 - #'d 9/10. It's hard to believe it's been over two years since a helicopter carrying Kobe Bryant and others crashed into a fog-shrouded mountain near Los Angeles, leaving no survivors. As the global sporting world reeled with the tragedy, few felt the pain more deeply than LeBron James, a man who shared with the fallen legend elite talent, single-minded determination and the unlikely transition directly from high school to the highest court in the land, the National Basketball Association.LeBron and Kobe were always thought of as the next Michael Jordan, but both players would go on to carve their own history and legacy in the NBA. The two would bond over the Jordan comparisons and that would only grow when LeBron decided to sign with Kobe's former team, the Los Angeles Lakers. James would lead the Lakers to the the 2020 NBA Championship and would dedicate it to the fallen Lakers legend who had preceded him. They now shared being apart of the legacy of Lakers greats, having both won championships and been NBA Finals MVPs for the franchise.
Coming from 2006-07 Upper Deck Exquisite Collection this is an excellent opportunity to gain a card of this stature to a collection. Certainly any object bearing the signature of this pair of Mount Rushmore figures carries enormous collecting appeal and this particular specimen is number nine of a limited edition of ten. Graded BGS NM-MT+ 8.5 with subgrades: Centering 9.5, Corners 9, Edges 9, Surface 8 with a Beckett Auto 10.
