2000 SP Authentic Buy Back Kobe Bryant Autograph (1996 Upper Deck SP) #134 BGS NM-MT+ 8.5, Auto 9 - #'d 2/3! For twenty years, Kobe Bryant had served as the face of the Lakers franchise, delivering five NBA Championships to a star-studded fanbase who packed the Staples Center to witness him play. He is the all-time leading scorer in Lakers history and both his 8 and 24 numbers he wore for them are retired. He began his career as one of the top high school players in the nation and decided to turn pro in 1995. Kobe landed in LA after a draft day trade sent him there from the Charlotte Hornets. Early on, fans touted him as one of the best dunkers in the league, winning the 1997 Slam Dunk Contest. In his 2nd season he became an all-star which he then did another 17 times which is number two all-time. He also has the record for most consecutive all-star game appearances as a starter. He then teamed with Shaquille O'Neal to win three straight NBA Championships from 2000-2002 and once Shaq was traded to the Heat, Bryant took over the scoring load, including an 81 point game which is the 2nd most all-time. The Black Mamba would then become the leader of the Lakers taking them to back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010 where he won the Finals MVP for both. Despite his physical decline being one of the main reasons for his retirement Bryant was still able to score 60 points in his final NBA game in 2016.

Offered is a 2000-01 Upper Deck SP Authentic Buy Back on-card black marker autograph of Kobe. This buy back autograph comes on Bryant's 1996-97 Upper Deck SP rookie card.
