1997 Metal Universe Championship Tim Duncan (Precious Metal Gems) #72 PSA NM-MT 8 - #'d 2/50. Tim Duncan shifted the power in the NBA since being drafted No. 1 by the San Antonio Spurs in 1997. Plenty of players owe a debt of gratitude to The Big Fundamental as possibly the best power forward of all-time. The former aspiring Olympic swimmer went on to be one of the most consistent players ever in the game; as he is a 5x NBA Champion, 3x NBA Finals MVP, 2x NBA MVP and the only player to be selected to both the All-NBA and All-Defensive Teams for 13 consecutive seasons. Our offered card comes from 1997-98 Metal Universe Championship and although similar to Metal Universe it is a completely different product and this card is the Precious Metal Gems parallel from Metal Universe Championship.
