1988 Fleer Scottie Pippen Rookie #20 PSA Gem Mint 10. A perfect card, almost. While the experts at PSA properly assign their highest possible assessment to the printing quality and condition of this flawless commemorative, the proofreaders at Fleer didn't do quite as well. Flip over to the backside and you'll see the Bulls small forward is identified as "Scottie Pippin," contradicting both the front of the card and the Hall of Famer's birth certificate. Today it's seen as a charming slip-up, but one can only imagine how Pippen felt when he got a look at his very first Fleer card and noticed the error. Gem Mint 10 examples are over ten times as rare as Mint 9's!Auction Info
