1980 Topps Larry Bird, Julius Erving, Magic Johnson PSA NM-MT 8. How can one obtain three Hall of Famers on one card? Possess this one, with Larry Bird, Julius Erving, and Magic Johnson. In the fall of 1980, Bird and Johnson had completed their first NBA season and were continuing the rivalry that began with Johnson's Michigan State team defeating Bird's Indiana State team for the NCAA championship in the 1978-79 season. Erving was an established superstar known for his electrifying dunks. In their careers, Bird won three NBA championships and three MVP Awards, Erving had two ABA and one NBA championships and was MVP four times, and Johnson won five BA titles and was a 3-time MVP.
