    Description

1972 Topps Julius Erving Rookie #195 PSA Mint 9 - Only One Superior! Before there was Michael Jordan, basketball's most famous high-flying aerialist was Doctor J, Julius Erving, and the 1972 Topps #195 is the only mainstream rookie card of this all-time great. An electrifying performer, the 6'7" small forward is famous for dunks in all variations, originating from as far away as the foul line. Erving was the shining star of the American Basketball Association, and played in that league from the 1971-72 season through 1973-76.

When the ABA and the NBA merged following the 1975-76 season, Erving went to the NBA's Philadelphia 76ers. Erving won two championships with the ABA's New York Nets and one with the 76ers. The Hall of Famer is the eighth ranked all-time ABA-NBA scorer. The card pops with color as Erving is pictured against a yellow background in his red, white and blue Virginia Squires ABA uniform. A great opportunity for a high-graded Dr. J rookie card. Graded PSA Mint 9.
