Description

1972 Comspec Rick Barry PSA VG-EX 4. Hoops Hall of Famer Rick Barry was a 6' 7" small forward who was named NBA Rookie of the Year in 1966 and then went on to win an NBA title with the San Francisco Warriors in 1975. He competed in both the ABA and NBA during his career and is certainly remembered for his unorthodox underhand free-throw shooting technique. Unorthodox or not, it was very effective as he registered a .893 free throw percentage. Presented is Barry's 1972 Comspec card, which is part of a non-traditional set with unnumbered cards that was not distributed through standard retail channels, making it much rarer than its Topps counterpart. The offered example is found in mid-grade condition with light, bright colors, nice centering, snow white borders, four sharp corners and a clean reverse. Graded PSA VG-EX 4.
