Description

1972 Comspec Kareem Abdul-Jabbar PSA EX-MT 6 - Only Four Higher. Hoops Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, who legally changed his name from Lew Alcindor in 1971, is largely considered the best center of all-time in both college and the pros. At UCLA, he was a three-time NCAA champion and three-time National College Player of the Year under the direction of Hall of Fame Coach John Wooden. Selected with the No. 1 pick in the 1969 NBA Draft by the Milwaukee Bucks, he then went on to rewrite the NBA's record books.

Offered is Abdul-Jabbar's ultra-rare 1972 Comspec card, which is part of a non-traditional set with unnumbered cards that was not distributed through standard retail channels, making it much rarer than its Topps counterpart. This mid-grade example exhibits great color, milky white borders, four sharp corners and a clean back. Graded PSA EX-MT 6. According to the PSA Pop Report, there are only six cards graded EXCELLENT-MINT with just four rated higher.
