Description

1972 Comspec Jerry West PSA VG-EX 4. Longtime Los Angeles Lakers guard Jerry West was one of the best clutch players in NBA history. His nickname, in fact, was "Mr. Clutch." Competing for the Lakers for his entire 14-year career, he was a 12-time All-Star selection who led the '72 Lakers to the NBA championship. Once his playing career ended, he became one of the most successful General Managers and team executives of all time. His induction into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame took place in 1980.

Offered is West's 1972 Comspec card, which is part of a non-traditional set with unnumbered cards that was not distributed through standard retail channels, making it much rarer than its Topps counterpart. The presented example is found in Very Good-Excellent condition with good color and snow white borders. Graded PSA VG-EX 4. This is one of only four cards graded VERY GOOD-EXCELLENT with just six graded higher.
