1977 Topps Basketball PSA Graded Complete Set (132) - Ranked #4 All-Time Finest on the PSA Set Registry. The year 1977 was a year of many significant firsts. The first Apple computer was introduced, igniting the home computer boom. The mini-series "Roots" premiered on ABC and attracted over 100 million viewers, while the science fiction film "Star Wars" captivated audiences with its iconic battle of good versus evil.In sports, the NBA crowned a first-time champion when the Washington Bullets triumphed in a thrilling seven-game series against the Seattle SuperSonics. It also marked the first time since the 1949-50 season that no member of the Boston Celtics was selected for the All-Star Game.
Meanwhile, Topps released a 132-card basketball set that initially garnered little attention. The rookie class features notable players such as Robert Parish and Adrian Dantley. However, over the years, this set has become a collector's dream when found in high grade as finding high-graded cards from this set is extremely challenging.
