    Description

1980-81 Topps Larry Bird/Magic Johnson Rookie SGC-Graded Collection (17). The NBA suffered by a lack of interest in the sport and its players but that all began to change in the late-1970's Only a complete fool wouldn't agree that Larry Bird and Magic Johnson were the faces of the sport -- fresh and positive faces that transformed public perception. Their talents on the court changed the way the very game itself is played. It is only befitting they share the same rookie card and only this pair could completely overshadow the NBA legend in Julius Erving who shares this card with them. Offered is a group of 17 such cards. Includes: Graded - SGC 92 NM/MT+ 8.5: 4 cards; SGC 88 NM/MT 8: 4 cards; SGC 84 NM 7: 7 cards; SGC 80 EX/NM 6: 2 cards. The SMR value is well over $2,000.00.
