1971-72 Topps Basketball Collection (3,000+) With 66 Pete Maravich Cards! There once was a song titled, "Brother Can You Spare a Dime." If this lot were a song it would be, "Brother Can You Spare a Maravich." Kidding aside, this is a group of unsearched, uncounted 1971-72 Topps basketball cards that fill up a four-thousand count box. What we do know is that there are probably only 40-50 different cards. The box is quite packed so the count estimate of 3,000 is a safe quantity to quote. All of the cards came from vending boxes and have survived quite well. High end corners and a fresh appearance is common with centering being the determining factor in grade. The cards will grade EX to NM/MT if not some Mint and we'll cover ourselves by saying there may be a very rare crease or wrinkle. A fantastic purchase for a group of hobbyists or dealer inventory.
