Signed 1992 Little Sun Derek Jeter PSA Gem Mint 10. For every Lou Gehrig and Mickey Mantle that has been harvested from the vast acreage of America's sandlots, there have been hundreds--thousands--of Next Big Things that never made it big. Even many of those who have worn the pinstripes to distinction have proven our initial hopes had been too high. We present the opening chapter of one of our absolute favorites here, the very first trading card of Derek Sanderson Jeter. This scarce pre-rookie model was produced in 1992 by Little Sun featuring "High School Baseball Prospects" with a baby-faced Derek Jeter being, by far, the most coveted of the four advertised names in the autograph series. Likewise renowned for the ultra-early autographs by Jeter, there are only 250 cards that were signed by the highly-touted prospect. These cards were inserted into factory boxes along with a complete set of cards. Graded PSA Gem Mint 10 with a black, thin marker signature that has been PSA/DNA Certified. There are a total of twenty-nine cards noted on the PSA census with seven rating a perfect Gem Mint 10!
