    Description

Circa 1932 Babe Ruth Single Signed Baseball. The appearance of Babe Ruth on a 1928-33 ONL (Heydler) ball usually indicates that the sphere was probably signed at either the 1928 or 1932 World Series, as they were the only two campaigns during that tenure in which the Bombers achieved post-season status. However, the absence of quotation marks around "Babe" would incline most learned observes to lean more towards the 1932 Fall Classic, when Babe was no longer signing in such a format. As Game Three or Game Four were the only contests played at Wrigley Field during the Series, this exemplar has a fifty-percent chance of being signed during his "Call Shot" game.

The Sultan affixed his large autograph to the sweet spot in black fountain pen. While his signature has faded over the years to a 3/10, it is still very identifiable and can be displayed as a single. Also, the ball has toned to a nice grayish color and the league stamping and Heydler facsimile are still bold. A fine opportunity to acquire a single Babe at a most reasonable price.
