    Description

Circa 1919 Babe Ruth Original News Photograph, PSA/DNA Type 1. We thought we'd seen every Red Sox photo of Ruth that exists, but we were wrong, and we've never been happier to be corrected. This is an absolute masterpiece, a short-list competitor for the finest image of the Babe, period. This crystal-clear portrait is the ultimate validation of Ruth's nickname, finding the iconic ballplayer at his boyish best in the final stages of his Fenway service before dooming Boston to decades of championship drought.

The image is trimmed of its borders, with a couple editorial marks at top edge and some minor wear at lower right, but our catalog imagery should validate our contention that these distractions are minor. Dimensions are 9.5x7.25". Editorial markings and affixed newspaper captions from official use appear on verso. Encapsulated by PSA/DNA, Type 1.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
