    Description

2012 Bryce Harper Game Used Mother's Day Bat, PSA/DNA GU 10 Photo Matched & MLB Authentic. Most of the pink Mother's Day bats which are offered show light use because they only see action for one game. Beginning in 2006, some players began using pink bats on Mother's Day as a salute to good old mom. The trend picked up steam, and these bats have become quite collectible.

Bryce Harper put heavy use into this Louisville Slugger model S318 bat (34" and 32.8 ounces) on May 13, 2012. Multiple Getty Images show the exact same alignment of baseball ink marks. PSA/DNA bat authenticator John Taube photo matched the lumber as well. There is a MLB authentication sticker (EK037087) on the knob. We checked the website and it lists the following: "Game-used Bat."

Harper finished the day 2-for-5 and drove home a run. Given the excellent use, we are safe in assuming this was his weapon of choice for each at-bat. The uncracked bat has athletic tape surrounding the handle and healthy pine tar application. Ball marks and a nice concentration of stitch impressions pepper the back barrel. Cupped end with the dimensions engraved on the knob. Simply put, the finest Harper gamer we have handled. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 10 Photo Matched. MLB Authentic EK037087.
