2003 Florida Marlins World Series Championship Ring Presented to Scout Orrin Freeman. Absolutely massive commemorative is one of the most visually commanding championship rings we've ever encountered, marking the second trip to the sport's highest peak by the Florida Marlins, who downed the mighty New York Yankees in the 2003 World Series. The namesake fish, large enough to make Ernest Hemingway proud, leaps from a figural baseball crafted from diamonds and rubies on the ring face, bedazzled by a gleaming "Marlins" and sandwiched between those powerful words: "World Champions." An included certificate of appraisal lists the jewelry value alone at $32,500. That's a genuine blue diamond that forms the fish's eye, by the way, with total gem weight calculated at an astounding 4.75 carats. The last Marlins ring which sold earlier this year realized a whopping $50,400.

The recipient of the ring also deserves special mention. Orrin Freeman was credited with signing Josh Beckett and Mark Kotsay along with bringing in several free agents which made the team World Series worthy.

Left shank identifies the original owner by surname and team role, framing a golden World Series trophy in miniature, the year of glory, and the Marlins' regular season record. Right shank provides a golden World Series logo and the results of the three postseason series.

Interior band is stamped "Intergold 14K" and measures to a size ten (10). Total weight is a hefty 106 grams. The ring is showcased inside a massive hinged wood and etched glass display case to complete the unfailing theme of profound luxury. An true masterpiece of jewelry design.
