    Description

1985 Pete Rose Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. The strike-shortened season couldn't derail Charlie Hustle's quest for the crown, and he was able to record a National League-leading 140 in just 107 games in 1981. The presented Mizuno R3631 bat (33.75" and 31.5 ounces), so named because Rose would pass Stan Musial (3,630 career hits) to set the National League hits record on August 10, 1981, exhibits solid use from that important season, with the barrel sporting ball marks on the right side, cleat marks and red and blue bat rack streaks. About four inches of athletic tape helps secure a handle crack. "33 1/2 A" are stamped into the knob. The "A" is Mizuno's notation for a professional bat. "14" is barely visible on the knob. Rose signed the barrel end in 9/10 black felt tip. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9. Full LOA from PSA/DNA (autograph). Auction LOA from SGC Authentic (autograph).
