Description

1980 WBTV Charlotte O's Cal Ripken Jr. #16 PSA VG 3. Cal Ripken is one of the few baseball legends who never left his home state during his Hall of Fame career. The Aberdeen, Maryland native eventually played for his hometown Orioles and broke one of baseball's seemingly unmatchable records as he surpassed Lou Gehrig for consecutive games played. From Ripken's final pre-Orioles days we offer his card from the 1980 Charlotte O' team set issued as a promo for WBTV. Ripken is featured on card #16. Graded PSA VG 3.
