    Description

1980's Sandy Koufax Game Worn Los Angeles Dodgers Coaching Jacket. Just months after a $573,600 result was realized for Koufax' rookie jersey in the Heritage New York Platinum Night auction, we return with another garment from the legendary ace at a considerably more democratic price point. This attractive warm-up jacket was issued to the Hall of Fame southpaw during his tenure in the franchise's coaching staff, featuring an embossed team logo over the heart and "Koufax" standing in three-inch block white tackle twill on verso. Interior collar holds a second, handwritten attribution along with "W.A. Goodman & Sons [size] 44" manufacturer's labeling. Solid wear but no damage to note. A very rare opportunity to own some genuine Dodgers blue from Sandy Koufax for a small fraction of what his flannel gamers command. LOA from Heritage Auctions.
