    Description

1978 Topps Eddie Murray Rookie #36 PSA Gem Mint 10. Aptly nicknamed "Steady Eddie" by baseball fans, Eddie Murray was a model of consistency during his Hall of Fame career. One of only five men on the planet able to claim membership in both the 500 Home Run and 3,000 Hit Clubs, Murray was just getting started when this trading card rolled off the Topps assembly line.

Over four decades later, this card remains indistinguishable from that condition, adding perfect centering and registration to its utter absence of wear to earn the highest possible assessment from the sensitive eyes of PSA graders. Consider that nearly ten thousand examples have been submitted to that service and only eighteen have achieved a Gem Mint 10 rating, placing this elite specimen in the top two-tenths of one percent of all submissions.
