    Description

1968 Topps Nolan Ryan - Mets Rookie Stars #177 PSA Mint 9. Far and away the most important and valuable card in the 1968 set and one of the key rookie cards of the 1960's is card #177 from the 1968 Topps baseball series featuring pitching legend Nolan Ryan. This otherwise unassuming card introduced the future strike out king of the baseball world to a generation of Mets fans and card collectors alike. Presented is a close to perfectly centered copy with four sharp corners and crisp registration. The front gloss is even and shiny, hues are deep and saturated. This is a very strong example of a key rookie card of the entire modern era and that is one combination hard to beat. Graded PSA Mint 9. Only one has graded higher. If you are looking for some bragging rights, adding this card to your collection does exactly that.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
