1968-70 Ron Santo Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 9. The Chicago Cubs Hall of Famer was the team's most prolific offensive weapon during the three-season production span of the provided lumber, outpacing even the great Ernie Banks in average home runs (27) and runs batted in (112) per year. The bat speaks loudly to that eventful time, exhibiting use characterized as "outstanding" by the experts at PSA/DNA. A wide array of ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat marks and rack streaks appear throughout the battle-scarred Adirondack 305A. Handle remains miraculously uncracked and the mid-barrel and knob reveal the coveted "Yosh marks" applied by long-time Cubs clubhouse manager Yosh Kawano. Educated collectors understand these notations to be the ultimate hallmark of authenticity for the team. Length is thirty-five inches (35"), weight thirty-six and a half ounces (36.6 oz.). LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 9.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
