    Description

1961 Rocky Colavito Game Worn & Signed Detroit Tigers Jersey. The jersey offered here was worn by nine-time All-Star Rocky Colavito during his most productive Major League season in 1961, when he recorded 129 runs, forty-five home runs, 140 RBI, 113 walks, and a .402 on-base percentage.

Road gray knit displays "Detroit" arched across the chest, "7" on the verso, and "7" on the right sleeve, all sewn-on in midnight navy felt. There is a "MacGregor 44" label in the collar, "Set 2 1961" flag tag in the interior button path, and the jersey exhibits nice overall well, while presenting in spectacular condition. This exemplar originally sold at Sotheby's in 1999 as part of The Barry Halper Collection. LOA from Sports Investors Authentication. LOA from Heritage Auctions. Full LOA from PSA/DNA.

Just wanted to let you know how pleased I am regarding the sale of my hockey jersey. You were great to work with, you answered all my phone calls and e-mails in a prompt manner, and you did a great job marketing the jersey.
