    Description

1961-63 Roberto Clemente Game Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 8. With a 1960 World Championship ring placed upon his finger by Mazeroski's legendary walk-off blast, this Hall of Fame outfielder decided it was time to dispense with his childhood "Momen" nickname, informing the good folks at Hillerich & Bradsby that he was "Roberto" from here on out. This stout U1 exhibits moderate game use from a three-year span beginning with Clemente's first of four National League batting titles, sporting ball marks, pine tar, a weighted bat donut impression and a faded vintage number "21" in black marker on the knob. Length is thirty-six inches (36"), weight thirty-four and a half ounces (34.5 oz.). Handle remains uncracked. Three small holes in the barrel have been professionally repaired. LOA from PSA/DNA, GU 8.

The hammer price for my Mantle card significantly exceeded my admittedly conservative estimations, and I couldn't be more pleased.
