Description

1954 Wilson Franks Nelson Fox PSA NM-MT 8 - Pop Six, None Higher. 1959 was a magical season for baseball fans on the south side of Chicago. The scrappy "Go-Go" Sox would take the American League pennant thanks in large part to the defensive and batting skills of Nellie Fox. The future HoFer was their only regular to hit .300 and earn a .988 fielding average. In 1954 the team was still building but good luck finding a better card to help build your set. Colors are deep and supple, surfaces are unblemished with a lone print imperfection in the purple background being the lone element of note. This is unquestionably one of the more scarce Fox card collectibles. Graded PSA NM-MT 8. One of six graded NM-MT with none rated higher from a total pop of ninety-four which is low for a '50's card.
